Mullsjö Folk High School is looking for a substitute teacher for the school's two-year vocational education,

Social Pedagogue with a focus on neuropsychological disabilities and comorbidity

Mullsjö Folk High School is beautifully situated on a hill, right next to the lake, in the scenic Mullsjö, just under 30 kilometers northwest of Jönköping. It is easily accessible by car, bus, or train.

The school has nearly 200 participants in long courses and has an extensive short course and boarding school operation. We are an independent foundation based on Christian values, and the school's main sponsors are the Swedish Alliance Mission, the Youth of the Swedish Alliance Mission, and the Mullsjö Folk High School's Association. We naturally welcome students of all different beliefs to our school.

Scope: substitute position as needed during the spring term of 2026

Start date: as soon as possible or by agreement

Qualifications/work experience/requirements

Educated Social Pedagogue, Social Worker, or Behavioral Scientist – experience is required

We are now looking for a substitute who wants to teach based on their own experience and competence, and teach in the area where you feel most secure. Formal education is an advantage, but solid experience and commitment weigh at least as heavily.

Job responsibilities

As a substitute, you step in as needed when the regular teacher is sick or absent. You plan and conduct teaching for up to 90 minutes. We prefer that you hold lessons in areas where you feel most secure and engaged, and where you have the opportunity to teach what you are truly passionate about.

You will have the opportunity to make a difference in the students' everyday lives and contribute your experience in a stimulating environment. We value different perspectives and experiences and welcome you to share your knowledge.

You are confident, solution-focused, and build relationships with a warm approach. Personal suitability is of great importance.
